Ended ASIC said the three year ban took effect on 22 May 2017. The end date of 21 May 2020 is calculated from that start and length, ASIC did not state one. On that calculation the ban has run.

ASIC said that, based on liquidators' reports, it was concerned the directors had failed to prevent the companies trading while insolvent, failed to ensure taxes were paid, failed to discharge their duties as directors and allowed one company to deliberately operate at a loss.¹
