Yang Dongjun: director ban
In force The SFC announced the 15 year order on 21 January 2026 and said the orders are in effect. It did not state a start or end date. No appeal was found by 28 October 2026.
Grounds
The SFC said the Court found that Yang, a shadow director who controlled a 22.6 per cent stake, concealed his personal interests in a 2009 acquisition of a target whose purported forestry assets did not exist, causing Superb Summit to lose 347 million dollars. It said he masterminded a 2014 acquisition of a company claiming to own a grossly overvalued engineering technology, which led to 248 million dollars being misappropriated. He was ordered to pay 347 million dollars in compensation and, jointly with two others, 248 million dollars.1
